The AIR runtime itself now supports multiple languages (Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish), as well as support for building internationalized applications (including keyboard input for double-byte languages). The World Organization of Webmasters (WOW), a non-profit professional association, has teamed up with the Adobe Corporation to conduct the first international Web Pro Community Challenge, to be announced at Adobe MAX in Chicago, IL, October 1-3, 2007.
